Legacy Photographer

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Terry began photographing at eight, developing an early instinct for storytelling. He studied Film at Vassar College, where his work gained national recognition in The New York Times, People, and Esquire. His background continues to shape his cinematic, narrative-driven approach.

Maike

Master Photographer

Raised in Germany, Maike trained under renowned photojournalist Ulrich Mack before moving to New York City in 1999 to study at Columbia University. Drawn to street reportage and performance photography, she built her career capturing movement, spontaneity, and emotion in dynamic environments.

JJ

Master Photographer

JJ discovered photography at age 12 and quickly developed a passion for storytelling through images. She studied Photography and Visual Arts at Ithaca College, earning grants for her thesis work before joining Gruber Photographers in New York. She has since grown into a key member of the team, known for her expressive, narrative-driven approach.

Zev

Master Photographer

Raised in New York’s Chelsea Hotel, Zev grew up surrounded by artists, musicians, and writers, shaping his early instinct for cultural storytelling. He studied Photojournalism at the School of Visual Arts and developed his career through international travel before joining Gruber Photographers. His work is deeply intuitive, focusing on authentic, emotionally resonant moments.

Tilly

Master Photographer

Originally from New Zealand, Tilly graduated top of her class at Unitec Institute of Technology and earned recognition in the AIPA Photography Awards. After moving to New York in 2008, she joined Gruber Photographers and quickly progressed from assistant to lead photographer. Her work is defined by a natural, intuitive approach to storytelling in real time.

Jeremy

Master Photographer

Raised in Connecticut, Jeremy earned his MFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design before beginning his career in fashion and editorial assisting. Joining Gruber Photographers in 1994, he quickly developed a signature narrative style shaped by observation and instinct. His work is known for its cinematic arc, capturing the emotional progression of an event from beginning to end.

Yuliya

Expert Photographer

Originally from St. Petersburg, Yuliya trained in graphics and journalism at Baruch College before beginning her career in photojournalism and wedding photography. She joined Gruber Photographers in 2015 after documenting over a hundred weddings across New York. Her work is defined by a refined visual sensitivity and a strong documentary instinct.

Olga

Expert Photographer

Originally from Odesa, Ukraine, Olga trained in publishing and public relations before pursuing documentary photography in New York. She refined her craft at the International Center of Photography and through the Eddie Adams Workshop scholarship. Her work is grounded in a deep sensitivity to storytelling and human emotion.

Massimo

Expert Photographer

Born and raised in New York, Massimo grew up in a multilingual, multicultural household and developed an early fascination with documentary storytelling inspired by National Geographic. After studying at Fordham University, he began his career in event photography before discovering his passion for weddings. He joined Gruber Photographers in 2015 after years of high-volume second shooting across New York studios.
